Every year, our Lights & Luminaria tour lights up our hearts as much as it brightens the streets of Old Town. Now in its 13th season, this beloved Routes tradition brings together families, friends, and neighbors from across New Mexico, many of whom have become like family to us over the years.

 

Together, we celebrate the warmth and wonder of the holiday season, surrounded by dazzling lights, glowing luminarias, and Albuquerque’s festive spirit.

 

On Christmas Eve, we ride past Albuquerque’s tallest holiday tree, soak in the gentle glow of San Felipe de Neri church, view a hot air balloon glow, and feel the warmth of luminarias lining every path—each flickering candle a reminder of community, tradition, and joy.
