How do I reconcile my P-Card statement for items purchased via the ‘Sandia Bicycle Lab’?

When reconciling your P-Card Statement, please make sure CPA #1470219 is referenced in the description.

 

 What is the Tax ID Number? 

Sandia National Laboratories is a Tax Exempt Facility. When checking out, please select the Tax Exempt check-box. A text field will open up and you can either put the Tax ID number, your department number, or simply Sandia Labs and the tax will be removed from your transaction. Please note, this is only for Fleet purchases, all personal purchases must be on a personal credit card and include tax.

 

On which days are fleet bicycle maintenance services offered, and where?

Routes and the Sandia Bicycle Lab is on-site every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00AM to 1:00PM

Effective Wednesday, November 11, SNL-NM Cycle Lab is moving to Bldg. 954 off K Street.   The Cycle Lab will be located inside the 954 warehouse and continue to provide maintenance and products for SNL-NM’s bike fleet.  Access the Cycle Lab through the West Counter entrance (across from Tech Area Gate 12).  More information will be posted on the Cycle Lab SharePoint site at SNL-NM Cycle Lab.  Questions to Pam Witt (10246) at 284-2660 or the Sandia Bicycle Lab at Routes (505) 933-5667.

You may schedule your appointment online or stop by the Sandia Bicycle Lab on Tuesdays & Thursdays for service repairs and assessments.

 

How long do fleet bicycle services take to perform?

Scheduled and approved services will be performed same-day whenever feasible. Due to the wide range of services offered / required, some requests may take longer and/or will be performed off-site and then your bicycle will be returned to you at SNL. In these cases, Routes shall endeavor to perform all services within two (2-3) business days (excluding Holidays and weekends) unless otherwise agreed or reasonably required for extensive and/or specialty service requests. We will advise you of the timeline for any new part(s) requested or needing to be ordered.

 

I ordered a new bicycle via the ‘Sandia Bicycle Lab’. What happens now, and how long will delivery take?

Depending on the current orders in, please allow 5-10 business days for delivery after receipt of your order. This timeline is subject to manufacturer availability, and we will notify you immediately of any back-ordered items.

How do I schedule maintenance services for my fleet bicycle via the Sandia Bicycle Lab?

Simply select ‘Schedule a Service Appointment‘ in the navigation menu or stop by the B-Lab on Tuesdays & Thursdays. You may also call us at (505) 933-5667 to schedule an appointment.

 

What do I need to bring or do after scheduling fleet maintenance?

Once your maintenance time and date has been scheduled, you can bring your bicycle(s) to our location inside Bldg. 954 off K Street (the ‘Bicycle Lab’) during your scheduled time. Routes will be there to greet you, review your bicycle(s) and needs, and give you a repair ticket with a scheduled pick-up time when your bicycle(s) will be completed. If you ordered parts/accessories and need them installed, please bring your fleet bicycle(s) with you as well.

If you are unable to bring your bike by on our scheduled visit, you may leave your bicycle at the B-Lab bike rack – with your name, phone number, and service request attached to the bike. We will intake the bike during our next scheduled visit and contact you with a completion time and any additional information needed.

 

How do I schedule maintenance services for my personal bicycle via the Sandia Bicycle Lab?

Simply schedule an appointment time on our website to schedule your personal service appointment. Routes will be on-site to pickup or deliver personal bicycles every Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00am – 1:00pm.

You may also take your bike to Routes in Historic Old Town Albuquerque during business hours, or call us to schedule your off-site appointment at: (505) 933-5667. Please mention you are a Sandian when scheduling your appointment via phone to ensure we apply discounted pricing to your order. Please note that you must use a personal credit card or cash to render payment for personal service requests.

 

What kind of warranty is offered?

Routes will honor all manufacturer warranties and will replace defective parts on bicycles within 5-10 days of receiving an incident report at no cost. We also provide a one-year warranty for all purchased fleet bicycles to include frames, handlebars, and internal components (bottom brackets, headsets, hubs/ bearings).
Routes provides a 30-day turn-key guarantee on all installed parts** and services performed on fleet bicycles and will work with manufacturers as needed to achieve the most beneficial arrangement for Sandia.
**Please note warranty excludes bicycle tubes (with the exception of tube manufacturer defects), loss or damage due to extreme misuse, natural disasters, or theft.

 

How do I purchase a new bicycle for personal / private use?

Under the ‘Employee Discounts / Services’ tab, select the sub-category ‘Purchase a Personal Bike’ and use the online purchasing system to complete your order. Please note that you must use a personal credit card or cash to render payment for personal bicycle purchases. 

You may also visit Routes in Historic Old Town Albuquerque during business hours to view bike models and to make your purchase. Please mention you are a Sandian when visiting our storefront to ensure we apply discounted pricing to your order.
