Routes Bicycle Tours & Rentals is a family-owned boutique in the historic core of Albuquerque, and Santa Fe, New Mexico with a focus on providing unique, sustainable experiences and products for our patrons.
Routes features full-service bicycle and snowshoe rentals accompanied by custom maps, accessories, gifts, and concierge-level service. We provide the largest rental selection of bicycles styles in Albuquerque and in Santa Fe: Elite road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids, 3-speed cruisers, fixed-gear, two-person tandems, kid’s bikes, and trailers! Long term rentals are available at discounted rates and we deliver and maintain the bicycles throughout your rental. Since no two vacations are the same, we are open most weekends & holidays with normal hours.

The Bicycle
The symbol (and signature) of our business ideology is the bicycle, a vehicle perfectly suited to the 21st century: flexible, healthful, sustainable, stylish, and ideal for wandering the routes of your choice. There are more than 1,000,000,000 bicycles in today’s world, and that number is increasing at a rate of nearly 100 million per year, or nearly twice the production rate of automobiles. The bicycle is a timeless medium that is ever-more in vogue, an icon of travel and popular culture that is unmatched in quality of experience and opportunity.
In winter months, the snowshoe is the analog of our bicycle, and presents an unparalleled opportunity to explore the beautiful alpine areas surrounding Albuquerque and Santa Fe (including the Sandia Mountains, easily accessed via the ABQ’s famous aerial Tramway; and the Sangre de Christo Mountains, a ~20 minute drive from the Santa Fe Plaza).
